Transformers
Pico transformers are sealed electrical devices with encapsulant material to ensure high environmental reliability. Operating temperature up to 130°C or more. They are widely used to step voltage up or down in power distribution systems, allow smooth signal processing, maintain power distribution protection by current metering, provide electrical isolation between circuits, and match impedances in electronic devices. Output configurations may be offered in split windings that can be used in series, or parallel connection. Most Pico transformers are magnetically shielded for circuit protection and to block electromagnetic interference from surrounding devices. Power ratings are up to 150VA maximum and power efficiency can be higher than 90%. Extreme resistance to shock, vibration, and impact—designed to meet stringent standards such as MIL-PRF-27 and EEE-INST-002. These features are available across all Pico component packages, in ultra-miniature size.
